About Chef's Table...

Chef's Table features exceptional food, impeccable service, and an extensive selection of fine wine. The restaurant opened in May, 2009, and is located in the heart of downtown Iowa City, right next to the historic Englert Theater. Two public parking ramps are located in close proximity to the restaurant. Metered parking is also available on Washington St, Iowa Ave, and Linn St.

Eric McDowell, Executive Chef

Chef's Table is the fruition of Executive Chef Eric McDowell's dream to open his own restaurant. With restaurant experience from Linn Street Cafe, Takanami, and Charlie Trotter's, his cuisine focuses on finesse and allowing the ingredient's true flavors to show through.

Brian Lhee, Sous Chef

Brian Lhee has obtained culinary experience from Atlas World Grill, Takanami, and The Motley Cow Cafe.
